Abstract:
In this paper non-isotermal liquid flow in circular straight pipe is analyzed. In this type of flow besides continuity and momentum equation, energy equation is also needed. Fields of pressure, velocity and temperature are coupled, so the solution of equation is very complicated. General assumption made here, which is completely justified, is that flow is one-dimensional. With this assumption, model which is described this type of flow is derived, and it's solved in two ways. First is analytical solution, with some additional assumptions. The second approach is numerical solution of model equations. At the end, comparison between two approaches is made, in order to find accuracy of analytical solution.
