Abstract:
his study presents the measurement of radon levels in the air using two different methods and techniques. The research aims to explore their mutual advantages and disadvantages.
A passive integrated radon measurement method is based on an E-PERM® system consisting of type ST electret for short-term measurements, type S chamber and SPER-1A voltage reader, manufactured by Rad Elec Inc, USA.
The RAD7 device from Durridge Company, USA, was used for the active method measurements.
The measurement results were processed using the statistical packages Origin v9 and SPSS v23. The obtained results were compared with the results of other studies.
