Abstract:
AIM: The aim of this case was to show treatment of dentoalveolar deep bite and crowding in permanent dentition by fixed appliances.
MATHERIAL AND METHOD: In this case female patient in the age of 19 years was treated by upper and lower fixed appliances. Patinet had forward facial rotation, decreasing value of basal angle, retrusion of the upper and lower frontal teeth and moderate crowding in the upper and lower jaw.
Patient used intermaxillary elastics for Class II in the final stage of treatment. After 26 months treatment was finished and fixed appliances were removed.
CONCLUSION: Patient in permanenetdenition can be treated by fixed
appliances to achieve stabile occlusion and correct overjet of 3mm and overbite of 3mm after orthodontic treatment. Now patient wear retention splints without signs of relapse.
