Abstract:
Vulnerable participants in traffic are participants who are not driving motor vehicles and they are including pedestrians, bikers, drivers of two.wheeler, also persons in wheelchairs, old and helpless people, children and persons with lower vision, hearing, etc. Drivers of motor vehicles must pay particular attention when vulnerable participants are on the roadway. The aim of this paper is to explore the interactions between the driver and the vulnerable traffic participants, especially the pedestrians, in the territory of Gradačac municipality and to point out existing problems, as well as to suggest solutions.
