Abstract:
This study deals with the investigation of influence the electrolyte, current density and current modes to crystallographic, morphological and chemical characteristics as well corrosion resistance of electrodeposited ZnNiCo ternary alloy coatings from chloride electrolytes with various concentrations of metal ions, deposition current densities and modes. Protective propeties of coatings were analysed by using the salt spray method, linear polarization, as well as electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Characterization of coating surface structure and morphology was performed by using crystallographic analysis (XRD) as well as scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
