Abstract:
The paper presents the results of the analysis of the use of electrochemical methods in forensic purposes, and for the purpose of qualitative and quantitative analysis of opiates. The testing of various illicit drugs (narcotics) abuse such as cocaine, marijuana, amphetamines, and on a wide variety of synthetic materials. Comparing the results obtained by conventional methods, it indicates that the assay electroanalytical methods can be used for identification of forbidden means. The advantage of electrochemical methods is reflected in the ease of preparation and handling devices, high sensitivity, low cost price analysis, a very short time for the analysis and applicability in the field.
