Abstract:
Industrial production in the early 21st century is facing the challenges of comprehensive globalization. Manufacturing companies with the goal of survival and maintenance of competitiveness are forced to transition from static to dynamic product forms. An exponential development of information and communication technologies and the Internet has created the preconditions for such a transformation of manufacturing companies and their production systems. Production companies in the industrialized countries are increasingly turning to the creation of smart factory, based on the integration of cyber and physical elements, to the global market was competitive, distinctive and highly successful.
This paper presents a vision of structuring cyber-physical systems and their applications in the field of manufacturing in order to create intelligent production environments in mind the smart factory.
