Abstract:
Subject of this investigation is focused on developing computation procedure for structural analysis with respects to stress and stability behavior of stiffened panels. A computational model for global and local buckling analysis of stiffened panels is considered. To study stability behavior of the compressed stiffened panels finite element method (FEM) is used. Present computation results using finite element method are compared with corresponding analytic solutions. The methods presented in this paper should be applicable to the design of stiffened panels in similar loading conditions
