Abstract:
Professional illnesses, harms at work and other diseases related with the job at the work place of the employees in the companies and institutions should be the issue of highest level priority at realizing the assessment of risk and improving the system of safety and health at work (at workplace). The aim of this work is to give contribution in building criteria’s of measures for prevention and education in a unique system for additional professional development of the employees, employers and the responsible persons who take care of the safety and health at work in the companies and the institutions with an only idea- decrease or prevent the harms at work place and professional diseases. Through a comparative analysis of the current situation in the Republic of Macedonia, this work makes an attempt to show the necessity of a systematic and permanent approach towards solving the problems of the lack of knowledge in the field of safety at work and the meanings of the measures of prevention. Studying carefully, this issue gives directions and activities for the strategies of improvement of the processes and measures for safety at work, professional development, permanent training and training of the employees in the field for safety at workplace, which has to be realized in the companies and institutions. The results by themselves give the conclusion that the lacks in this field should not be minimized and that these issues have to take place like key goals of the national strategies for safety at work.
