Abstract:
In our conditions, prepare for tests NDT methods are not given or given very little attention. Of preparation depends on the quality of the test, and the quality testing report, which in itself must include traceability and repeatability, which is rarely the case. One of the aspects of preparing are making sketches, 2D or axonometric, tested subjects with defined orientation in space and determined benchmarks to detected defects and irregularities. To this end the use of commercial software for parametric modeling, enables rapid creation of 3D models tested subjects and determining one or more benchmarks in order to orientation object and the exact definition of irregularities or defects. Possibility of viewing the subject of testing and the possibility of a large number of sections frees us from making a complicated 2D sketches. Connection models in 3D with other computer programs for processing text and photos, allowing production of quality testing report with defined traceability and repeatability acording requirements of standard 17025. In the example for testing large-scale hydro power equipment showing the use of parametric program for drawing and modeling, SolidWorks, in order to prepare for the NDT testing and making reports of testing.
